The Lawrence County Public Safety App is an interactive mobile application aimed at aiding the residents and visitors of Lawrence County, Alabama. The Sheriff’s section enables residents to engage with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office by reporting crimes, submitting tips, and utilizing various interactive functionalities. Additionally, this section offers the community access to the most recent public safety updates and information.

The Emergency Management Agency (EMA) segment of the application provides a range of tools to ensure that the citizens of Lawrence County are well-informed, well-prepared, and educated on emergency readiness and protective measures. Among its offerings are social media feeds, storm shelter locations, notifications on school and road closures, severe weather updates, and a platform for reporting damages.

This application serves as a public outreach initiative resulting from a collaboration between the Lawrence County EMA and the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, with the aim of enhancing communication with residents and visitors within the county.
